The Dream Interpreter

This short film marks Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts first departmentally produced film. Directed by MFA Candidate Vince DeGeorge and with a script from faculty member C.N. Bean, David Mallin was the Executive Producer and Director of Photography.

Shot entirely on location in the New River Valley, this film is a truly collaborative production between Virginia Tech faculty, MFA candidates, undergraduates, industry professionals and members of the New River Valley community.

What does it take to follow your dreams? For Tabitha Hager the future is anything but dreamy. Her business is failing, her younger brother is drifting, and her love life is nonexistent. When a mysterious homeless man with an uncanny ability to interpret dreams enters the picture, will Tabitha find the courage to overcome life’s obstacles and pursue her dreams?
